The last check should happen in the destination listing, not only inside the photo editor. Confirm that the approved files still explain the correct vehicle after import, sorting and cropping.

Match the listing to the photo project

Check the stable stock reference and a few distinctive vehicle features before releasing the page. Similar models and colours can make an incorrect association look plausible. Confirm that the cabin and detail views belong to the same stock as the exterior. Keep the reviewed project available so the publisher can resolve a question without guessing which download folder was intended.

Inspect lead image and order

Verify that the main photograph is the planned overall view and that the gallery follows your buyer-oriented sequence. Import systems may sort by filename, upload time or another rule. Look for missing rear or cabin views and unintentional duplicates. Do not assume a complete ZIP arrived in the same order the reviewer saw it.

Check crop, colour and branding

Open desktop and mobile presentations. Make sure bumpers, mirrors and roof equipment remain visible in overall views. Confirm logos and plate overlays are legible and confined to their intended areas. Compare paint colour and important detail if the destination has recompressed the files. A successful upload message does not establish that the presentation is correct.

Close the task with a visible record

Record who checked the live listing and any remaining exceptions. If a photograph is waiting for repair or retake, make that explicit in the handover. Keep originals and rejected results out of the publishing selection while retaining them in the appropriate project history. Use repeated destination problems to update the capture or export standard rather than correcting them one listing at a time.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Your dealer checklist.

  • Match the listing and project stock references.
  • Confirm exterior, cabin and details belong together.
  • Check lead image, order and missing views.
  • Inspect mobile crop and branding.
  • Record the final publishing check.

Common questions.

Can the editor’s approval replace the publishing check?

No. The destination can change order, crop or compression after the files leave the editor. Inspect what customers will actually see.

Should rejected files be deleted from all history?

Keep source and review evidence where appropriate, but exclude rejected or unapproved results from the customer-facing publishing selection.
